Invitation to Non-Practicing Catholics...
St. Hubert Catholic Church welcomes you home! Catholics Returning Home
is a cooperative ministry offered which is supported by the Roman Catholic parishes of the Archdiocese of Chicago.
Parable of the Lost Sheep
In scripture we hear about the Good Shepherd who leaves the 99 sheep to search for the one that is lost. And, when he finds it, he brings it home and calls everyone to REJOICE over finding the lost sheep. Jesus says that there will be more REJOICING in heaven over one repentant sinner than over 99 just who have no need of repentance. (Gospel of St. Luke 14: 3-7)
An Invitation
If you are a Catholic who has been away from the Church for a while, this invitation is for you! Our Faith Community MISSES YOU and is incomplete without YOU! No matter how long you have been away and for whatever reason, we invite you to consider renewing your relationship with the Catholic Church. Please join us for informal listening sessions and an update of the Catholic Faith facilitated by former non-practicing Catholics. Everyone is welcome, no matter where they are from!
You are invited to attend a 6-week session to guide you to a joyful, exciting return to your Faith Community.
Sessions are usually scheduled for the fall, after Christmas and after Easter.
