About Us
New Beginnings is a Catholic oriented, non-denominational, social, self-help group
for widowed, divorced, separated, and never-married persons who are looking for more social interaction in their lives. New Beginnings helps individuals deal with the loss and loniliness in their lives. This ministry helps build self-esteem by creating
an environment where individuals can meet new friends and feel accepted. It's goal is to help you to live happily and successfully as a "single person" again, reclaiming the peace and joy of your mind and heart.
New Beginnings has been meeting as an organized group since 1976. Its focus is about experiencing personal recovery after loss and building new friendships and companionship. People of all ages and faiths are welcome. Most of our more than 300 members range between 45 and 65, though we have members who are younger and older.
Whether you're widowed, divorced, separated or never married, you'll find others with similar experiences who understand. We encourage enjoying life through friendships, conversation, social events, and just plain having fun!
Our Monthly Calendar
New Beginnings meetings are every Monday at 7:00 pm in the Meeting Room in the lower level of St. Hubert Church. There is a $3 donation fee; but your first visit is free. We supply coffee, tea, water, soft drinks, and a light snack.
Even though we meet every Monday evening, there are activities planned for almost every day of the week.
Feeling alone some evening? There is sure to be some event not far away from you.
