St. Hubert School Celebrates
Catholic School Week 2012


Faculty and students at St. Hubert School plan to focus on "Faith, Academics, and Service" during the week of January 29 - February 3, 2012.  Please read the following list of scheduled activities.  Thank you for giving your child the gift of a Catholic Education.

Sunday, January 29, 2012 - Open House
9:00 AM Mass - Pre-K through Grade 3 encouraged to attend
10:00 AM until 1:00 PM - Open House (refreshments in Lunchroom) - Student Council Officers and Representatives available to guide visitors
10:45 AM Mass - Grades 4 through 8 encouraged to attend

Monday, January 30, 2012 - Service Day
Students and faculty work on service projects to benefit Veterans at the local VA hospital and sick children in local hospital pediatric wards
Surprise Ice cream treat at lunch

Tuesday, January 31, 2012 - Faith Day
8:30 AM - School Mass

Wednesday, February 1, 2012 - Academics Day (Focus on your Future)
Students may wear college/university clothing that represents the school they want to attend (jeans allowed)
Hot Dog Lunch - Grades 3 through 5
 
Thursday, February 2, 2012 - Academics Day
9:00 AM until 1:15 PM - St. Viator Field Trip - Grades 6, through 8
12:00 PM - St. Hubert Brain Bowl - Grades K through 5 in the SHS Gym
Hot Dog Lunch - Grades A/D Preschool, A/D Kindergarten, Grades 1 & 2

Friday, February 3, 2012 - Faith Day (Give Witness to our Faith)
Dress Down Day - Bring in $1.00 for the Veterans
9:15 AM - "Real Character is No Accident" - All school assembly in the SHS Gym
Hot Dog Lunch - Grades 6 through 8



Celebrate Superbowl Sunday
AND Support
St. Hubert School with Buona Beef


Pre-order all your Buona Beef items using the printable form, and they will be packaged and ready for you to pick up after 11 a.m. on Feb. 5, Superbowl Sunday at BUONA in Hoffman Estates, 2352 W. Higgins Rd. All orders must be turned in by Tuesday, 1-31-12 to the St. Hubert School Office to the attention of Stacey Ruben.  Click here for more information.


Service Project Donations Needed

St. Hubert School is asking for donations of individually wrapped pieces of Valentine’s Day candy for a service project planned for Catholic Schools Week January 29 – February 3, 2012.  Wrapped candy can be brought to the Main Office throughout the month of January.  Please mark the candy, “CSW Donation.”  Thank you!


Black and Gold Gala

The St. Hubert Catholic School Development Core Team is once again hosting our annual Black and Gold Gala to be held on Saturday, February 25, 2012.  Many volunteers are needed to ensure a successful event.  Please consider sharing your time and/or talent as we plan for this tremendous evening.  Click here for more information on how you can volunteer and be a part of celebrating  St. Hubert Catholic School.

Fannie May Easter Sale
Order all your favorite Easter treats from the Fannie May catalog and you will receive a 10% discount on your purchase. 3 Year-old Two Day Preschool - Tuesday and Thursday

Morning Session: 8:00 AM - 10:30 AM
Afternoon Session: 11:15 AM - 1:45 PM

4 Year-old Three-Day Preschool – Mon., Wed., & Fri.
Morning Session: 8:00 AM – 10:30 AM
Afternoon Session: 11:15 AM - 1:45 PM
    (Wednesday dismissal - 1:15 PM)

3/4 Year-old Multi-age All Day   Monday – Friday
One Session: 7:45 AM – 1:45 PM
    (Wednesday dismissal - 1:15 PM)
   
Kindergarten – Monday – Friday   
Morning Half Day Kindergarten: 7:30 AM - 10:30 AM
Full Day Kindergarten: 7:30 AM - 2:05 PM
    (Wednesday dismissal - 1:30 PM)


Extended Time Program - 2011-2012 School Year
Our Extended Time Program is a very important component for many of our students. This extended time program is open to students in all day preschool & preschool p.m., kindergarten all day and kindergarten p.m. classes through 8th grade and is only available to our St. Hubert parents.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Mrs. Cindy Helm, our Extended Time Program Director, at (847) 885-7737.  It is not too late to enroll your child in the Extended Time Program at St. Hubert School.  Just fill out the registration form and drop it off at the school office.
