Youth Mass
This Mass serves as a training ground for our youth wanting to serve Christ through active ministry in the Celebration of the Mass. Our young people learn and serve as Lectors, Ushers, Eucharistic Ministers, Choir Members and Mass Coordinators. If you're interested, call us at the Youth Ministry Office 847 885 7705.
Our teen/young adult choir sings at the 6:00 PM Sunday Mass. Teens and young adults in their 20s & 30s enjoy singing all styles of music. Rehearsals are on Mondays from 7:30-9:15 P.M. Instrumentalists meet on Sundays at 4:45 and vocalists at 5:00 p.m. before Mass. New members are always welcome! The 'new' Confirmation Process includes a choice for Confirmation age. Student Confirmation is still received in the tenth grade (and older) and now we have an option to also receive in the eighth grade. This program started with the 2007/2008 school year. Confirmation is still being offered for the Sophomore student and Religious Education continues to be available for High School students or students choosing to be Confirmed at an earlier age. |
