St. Hubert School Parents’ Club
St. Hubert’s Parents Club is a volunteer organization composed of the parents of students attending St. Hubert’s School. The
organization is dedicated to serving St. Hubert’s School, its students, and its
staff. The focus of the organization’s efforts is on building school spirit and
pride.
Parents’ Club Activities
During the course of the year, St. Hubert’s Parents Club hosts, sponsors, and runs a variety of activities designed to help the parish’s
future through our children. For example, the Parents Club runs Market Day, the
fun fair, and an auction to help fund items used in the new multi-purpose room
at the school. Other activities undertaken by the Parents Club include a plant
sales and staffing the Bingo tent at Hoffman Estates festival days on the fourth
of July weekend.
Time and Talents
The only criteria needed to join this ministry are to have a student going to St. Hubert’s School, show a willingness to work on activities
that build school pride, and exhibit enthusiasm and professionalism in volunteer
activities. The Parents School Board host four general membership meetings each
year. The meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. in the new club room at the Parish
Ministry Center. For the 2002-2003 school year, the meetings will take place on
Thursday, September 26; Thursday, November 21; Thursday, February 20, and
Thursday, May 15. At these meetings, parents discuss upcoming activities,
examine new opportunities and make sure that there are enough volunteers for
upcoming events.
