Gathering Together to Pray

  • “I am not trying to really petition for something or repay something. It’s more like sharing something with a friend.” —Mike
  • “Praying the rosary proved very helpful in my time of need. Yes, only when I started praying the rosary every day did I find peace in the midst of chaos” –Erlinda
  • Being with others gives me a feeling of fulfillment.” –Teri
  • “For me the need is developing a close relationship with Jesus. The Rosary Group provided the setting in which I was able to realize more deeply the connection between the Bible stories, the mysteries of the Rosary, and conversation with a loving God.” –Herman

We Believe

The Rosary Ministry joins vocal prayer and meditation on the Life of Christ in the Mysteries of the Rosary that is a participation in that Life. WE BELIEVE “that meditating on the mysteries of the most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise.” WE BELIEVE the Communion of Saints is the foundation of our ministry.

We Value

The meditations on the mysteries of the birth, passion and glory of Christ. The maternal concern of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The fifteen promises attributed to the Blessed Virgin Mary in the Dominican tradition. The company of persons who share these beliefs. We meet on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. in the church. Feel free to come weekly or as often as you like. Prayer sheets are available for newcomers, if desired. If you would like to be a regular member of the rosary group, you may receive a booklet of meditations and prayers.
