Respect Life
We bring to the parish's attention issues in today's world where effort is
needed to ensure all life is respected. St. Hubert's Respect Life Committee is dedicated to affirming all life
issues and follows the guidelines of the Archdioceses of Chicago's Respect
Life Office.
What We're About
The goals of our ministry are: " To educate the parish and public "
To pray for a culture of life " To provide direct spiritual and physical
care to those in need " To protect human life through public policy and
advocacy
What We Do
We bring to the parish's attention issues in today's world where effort is
needed to ensure all life is respected. We are a link between the archdiocese
and the parish on these issues as well as a link to surrounding parishes. Some
of the ways we serve include: " Informational bulletin articles "
Prayer services " Collections for pregnancy crisis centers "
Information about archdiocesan workshops and events " Updates and calling
tree alerts on life issues in the legislature (or public arena)
How Can You Help?
Our ministry meets monthly. We share prayer and information and we discuss
how to serve our parish regarding life issues. We are delighted to add new
members to whatever degree they wish to participate. We meet on the first Tuesday of the month at
7pm.
