Mass Coordinators
Ensures All Ministers Are Prepared for the Eucharistic Celebration
Mass coordinators take delight in knowing that the Mass has touched the hearts and minds of the assembled people. They are faithful in their
work knowing that through them the Lord saves His People.
Mass Coordinators
Mass Coordinators make sure that the all those persons called to serve at the table of the Lord are in place and prepared to serve with
grace and reverence. The ministry welcomes the community to God’s House as if it
was our own. It coordinates people, places and events so that our Masses will be
punctual and pleasing to our God. In turn, the Mass coordinators see their work
as form of personal prayer.
Ministry Activities
Mass coordinators make sure that lectors are in place to read the Liturgy of the Word, Eucharistic Ministers are in place to distribute
the Body and Blood of Christ, Ushers are present to help the assembly, and the
Priest and altar servers are present. The goal of mass coordinators is to make
sure that all others called to serve at the table of God are in place and ready
to serve God with grace and reverence. We address God as a community ready to
serve. Before Mass, we begin with a common prayer, knowing that we are God’s
servants performing actions that will praise and serve our God and His Church.

Time and Talents Needed
To be a Mass coordinator, a person should have served for some time as a Eucharistic minister. The coordinator needs to be well organized
and should be able to solve problems in a clear, concise fashion. The
coordinator will assign people to perform tasks and will make sure that those
tasks are performed in accord with God’s wishes. The coordinator also will make
God’s House of Worship a welcoming place for all people. Mass coordinators serve
one Sunday a month at a specified Mass. There is no specific training for this
ministry, but coordinators will receive direction and help.
